Tracy Nolan, M.P.S. | Education Director In 2012, Tracy made a late career switch from Fashion Business Administration to pursue her passion for the marine environment. This metamorphosis began when Tracy traveled to Australia where she realized that humans had exceeded their consumptive capacity and decided to dedicate her future to educating others about marine debris. In her pursuit to save the ocean from plastic debris, Tracy campaigned her hometown to “Block the Bag,” which inspired hundreds to support a single-use plastic bag ban at checkout and restaurants. Soon after, Tracy moved to South Florida where she obtained her Masters of Professional Science in Marine Conservation with a focus on marine debris education. As the Educational Director for the Miami-based nonprofit, Debris Free Oceans, Tracy develops the organization’s marine debris educational strategy and regularly educates students about marine debris impacts and solutions.
